I walked past a cute puppy in a flea market pet shop and in a moment of insanity I insisted that I have him. Before I picked him up I named him “Maharajah”. I had NO idea what a boerboel was or how huge they get or the complications attached to the breed…. However, there is not a single day that I regret ever making that impulsive decision to get my son.
He was 6 weeks old and was not registered. When I say I had no idea, I mean I had no idea… therefore I was quite content to still buy him. When he first went for his inoculations, the vet was concerned that his tail was docked and he did mention that Rajah’s frame looked a bit “off”. I didn’t think much of it and we lived on. A 6 months I sent him to be neutered and there were some complications etc … Rajah was sent to Rigdemall Vet and that’s when my world almost came to an end… Rajah at 6 months old was diagnosed with, server hip dysplasia, arthritis and elbow dysplasia. I was advised that he was inoperable and I should put him down….
There was NO WAY that I was going to put Rajah down… I think they tried to soften it for me and said that they would try an aggressive course of medication and see how he responds… I know that Ridgemall Vet was advising me according to what was best for Rajah but I could not accept it.
I started researching alternative natural or homeopathic treatments for Rajah’s conditions and that is when I came across Sasha’s Blend. Each bit of information I read relating to Rajah’s conditions kept referencing to ingredients founds in Sasha’s.
During that time I found Dr Gary Eckersley (MY HERO)…. With the work of Dr Eckersley, Sasha’s Blend, acupuncture, hydro-therapy (thanks’ to the wonderful team at Doggy Paddle) Rajah is now 1 year 8 months and still going strong…

Jessie is a (almost 7 year old) German Shorthaired Pointer bred by Dr. Bob & Mrs Trudi Winter of Bhulisa Kennels in Durbanville.

All her life she has been a hard working gundog and Field Trial competitor as well as the best hunting companion one could wish for. And then last January (2009) she developed a lameness in her front left leg.

So we did the thing normal and rested her for a couple of weeks, but the lameness just would not go away. It in fact became so bad that after just 15 mins of activity in the field she was reduced to hopping around on 3 legs. At this point she went to our vet and he suspected a strained/damaged tendon. X-Rays and an ultra-sound was done and a strained tendon was noted. So a small surgical procedure was completed to remove fluid and inject some medication which it was hoped, would solve the problem, but after more rest this proved to be to no avail. A trip to the specialist then followed. This led to an MRI which showed nothing wrong on neck and spine (the specialist suspected either a tumour or trapped nerve) and so then a surgical scope was performed on her shoulder.

Unfortunately this revealed that Jess had damaged the cartilage in the shoulder joint and also damaged one of the tendons that was judged to be beyond surgical repair.

As you can imagine, this news was pretty much devastating for such an active young working gundog.

We were advised that the only course of action open to us was a special vet mobility diet and possible supplements, but that at the end of the day, her “working” career was over.

Enter Sasha’s Blend.

I was told about Sasha’s by a fellow dog competitor and decided to give it a try as, quite honestly, we had nothing to lose.

I started to see the improvement after about 2 weeks on Sasha’s and she was out in the field two weeks later for some very restricted and closely watched exercise.

Well, after nearly one and a half hours of activity, I decided to call it a day and watch her for signs of lameness/stiffness – none of which happened.

The difference in this dog is very difficult to put into words to describe – you really needed to be there to see it for yourself.

Jess went from being lame after 15 – 20 mins of activity, to being able to run and hunt for 2 – 3 HOURS and retrieve bagged game!!(some of which weighed in excess of 10kg – or put another way, almost half of her own body weight!)

At the time of writing this, she has just completed another full season in the field, is enjoying life to the full and we are both looking forward to the next season in the veld together.

Thanks for all the advice and thanks for Sasha’s Blend!!

Sincerely,
Andrew O’Dell

I was given Plaque Off for just over two months because I had tartar build-up on the back molars.

Within 2 weeks my breath was fresher and after 2 months over 40% of the tartar was off my teeth.

My back molars are now 99% tartar free. Angela, my owner, is blown away and keeps on lifting my lips to show people my "pearly whites"

Great product!

Just to let you know that I have a very canny 10 year old Rottweiler named Gypsey who will not eat even the yummiest things if there is a hint of a tablet or anything in it.

With Sashas Blend, she watches while I put it in her food and gobbles it all up. Absolutely loves it and it has helped her aging joints...

She is back to being a puppy, running everywhere again.

We have tried various medications and herbals but with this she bounds around like old times.

Thank you!

Raven has turned 5 and has been competing in the sport of Agility since she was just over 18 months old. At around 3 years old she started pulling up lame in the front shoulder after practice and trials. I started her on Sashas Blend as I had heard it was good for joint injuries and maintenance of the material that allows joints to work fluidly.

She has never been lame since and has avoided all injuries since being on Sashas Blend. Her recovery time after she runs is awesome (where other competing dogs are tired she puts more speed on!) and her speed is such that we often win 1st place.

My dog was diagnosed with severe hip displasia and the Vet asked if I want to rather put him down.

He is a working dog and loves his training so much I could not put him down.

I was introduced to Sashas Blend and my dog has since participlated in two Western Province and National Schuthund Trials.

He cleared his one meter jump every time! I have a new dog. The turnaround in his health and performance has been 180 degrees.

I will put every dog I own on Sashas Blend!

My West Highland Terrier, Flip, was diagnosed with Arthritis at 1 year old and was having much difficulty in running, jumping and getting started in the mornings.

She seemed to be in pain a lot of the time and wasn't able to play much of the time with our other dog - a Cairn Terrier of the same age.

Afer trying anti-inflammatories for a period of time, we switched to Sashas Blend and it is like she was never unwell!

She is now 4 years old and has been taking 1/2 teaspoon of Sashas Blend every day for the last 3 years.

She can keep up with her playmate and has so much energy. I don't know what we would have done without it.

My Boerboel was diagnosed as 'Riddled with Arthritis' - she was not even 1 year old.

I tried Sashas Blend and I was blown away.

She is now playing with her toys like she used to as a puppy and even jumps up on me to greet me when I come home!
